Castro Harper Investments focuses on adding value to existing houses in Brooklyn, NY. Our track record has provided an annual return of 17% - 61%. As native New Yorkers and Brooklynites, we are passionate about bringing groups of investors together to achieve the goal of acquiring buildings and adding value.   • How the Castro Harper Fund Began

    After garnering an extensive amount of experience as well as success in the real estate industry Giovanni partnered up with Maurice to start doing rehabilitations in the New York area. In 2016 Gio and Maurice rehabilitated their first house together and that bond of friendship turned into a bond of business which led to the creation of the Castro Harper Fund. They currently own over 28,000 square feet of residential and commercial real estate with an acquisition value of $9,000,000 and a current market value of $25,225,000. The partners have relied on their relationship building, networking, work ethic, and New York City mentality to get the job done right with no excuses. The Castro Harper fund’s core value is integrity, teamwork, family, no egos, and adding value to whatever they put their minds to. 

  • Giovanni Castro

    Giovanni Castro has spent the last 18 years "sinking buzzer beaters" in the New York City real estate industry. He cut his teeth as a salesperson at a brand-new firm when he first started. He quickly rose to Chief Operating Officer there, tasked with guiding over 50 agents looking to achieve success in the fast-paced world of New York City renting and buying. He even went on to acquire his very own boutique brokerage which he ran successfully for 4 years. At any given time as COO or Principal Broker, there were 50-70 agents working under him. It follows that Gio has seen it all in this business. Giovanni holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Lehigh University. 

  • Maurice Harper

    Maurice Harper has spent the last 20 years in Information Assurance/ CyberSecurity operating domestically and internationally for banks, hospitals, and the Department of Defense. Maurice worked for several large firms which include IBM and SAIC functioning as a subject matter expert in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity. He started his own IT consulting firm in 2012 and took that same entrepreneurial spirit to jump into the real estate business in 2016 with his friend Giovanni. Maurice holds a Masters of Science in Information Technology with a specialty in Information Assurance.

Lori has spent the last 10 years elevating clients' brands and social media presence. Working in the luxury hospitality, travel, and real estate industries - Lori has developed a clear vision for her clients to build their dream brand and business model. She brings and creates high-quality content for a cohesive and effective brand message. Working hand-in-hand as Giovanni's executive assistant, Lori helps support across a wide variety of tasks and initiatives managing multiple simultaneous projects toward big-picture goals.
